In a previous post, I had made a spice cake with cinnamon cream cheese icing. Here is the cinnamon cream cheese icing I created. It came out good and it is delicious!
One 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. pkg. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. pkg. powdered sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
(If you do not want a too "cinnamony" taste, use 2 tsp.
I just love cinnamon. But, 3 tsp isn't too overwhelming.)
Let butter soften. Beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Blend in vanilla. Add powdered sugar. Gradually beat together powdered sugar and mixture. Lastly, add cinnamon and blend.
