Chocolate Pecan Pie recipe

Hi Friends!

My Aunt Carol forwarded me this recipe, and it sounds fantastic!


  • 1 package (4oz.) Baker's German chocolate
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pie shell

  •  Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until melted.
  • In another pot, bring sugar and corn syrup to boil over high heat until sugar is dissolved. BE CAREFUL
  • not to burn it! Reduce heat and boil gently for 2 minutes.
  •   Stir chocolate mixture into sugar syrup.
  •   Slowly pour the filling mixture over the eggs, stirring until blended.
  •   Mix in vanilla and nuts.
  •   Pour mixture into prepared pie shell (read package directions).
  •   Bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes until puffy.
